The 2024 Grape Harvest

Counter-trend

The 2024 vintage started with early budding in almost all varieties.
The first rainfall occurred in the spring, which brought great vegetative development, but with the appearance of the first fungal diseases.

The climatic conditions led the plants to produce far more grapes than in previous years, the ripening of which, however, was slowed down by the excessive heat in July and August. Ripening continued due to a continuous succession of rains in September as well. This led to a very long harvest characterised by careful selection, picking only the grapes with the right maturity and best quality.

The 2024 vintage resulted in the production of very fresh white wines with a good aromatic charge, and red wines with excellent acidity, subtle tannins and very smooth with lower alcohol contents.
