The garden was born in 1932 based on a project by Franco Venerosi Pesciolini who transformed the ancient orchard planted by the family at the end of the nineteenth century, designed according to medieval models, with a garden that he wanted designed according to the archetype of Italian gardens typical of the Renaissance . Surrounded by large holm oak plants, it stands out for its unusual trees, for examples of topiary art and for a magnificent green telescope made up of arched cypresses placed in the center of the garden, which leads the visitor's gaze straight onto a terracotta sculpture of the 'Nineteenth century depicting the goddess Pomona, in memory of the ancient orchard. The garden also houses the terracotta and wooden sculptures of Immacolata Datti, the oracle tree, the golden branch, the Cedar of Lebanon and much more! Don't miss the opportunity to walk in the most evocative garden of the Municipality of Peccioli, winner of the Borgo dei Borghi 2024! Come and visit us to discover every corner!
